Rich B. of Bethesda, MD wanted a replica of a Denver and South Park
logging train. The train set is a mix of fictitious fun and historical
prototype. The locomotive is custom painted and weathered to match the
"Platte Canon" engine which was lost to time in the 1800's. The engine
and waycar were brought back to life with historical research, custom
decals, numerous white metal and brass detail parts. The log cars
include real wood logs, and lots of weathering. The finished product is
proudly displayed by a very satisfied customer.
